The Eurasian wolf knows for a fact that he's probably going to be some of the wolves that will end up training Angel with the way that everything works around here. Kitchi is fine like this, as he knows that the rest of the pack will pitch in with what they could and then go from there. He blinks his golden optics as he listens to the orange hued vixen grown with the rest of them, all of the pack growing with frustration for everything that is going on. His attention soon changes back toward Calla though, as the Aldiren seems to shake her said as if to say that she's fine. Kitchi feels like she is lying about what he had asked her not too long ago. Maybe he was wrong though? Was that the paranoia working at him again? Probably. The multi-hued brute wasn't about to argue with her though on that, and simply kept his mind shut. He would be able to confront her when her condition got a lot worse, which he has seen before. Calla probably already has a lot of weight on her shoulders that will take time to get used to. All he can offer her right now is the security for the rest of the pack, one that is practically filled nothing but females. Kitchi begins to get up at the mention of a hunt though, his gaze gleaming as he dips his head toward Calla's words. He knows that him and Silver will be able to catch large prey together thanks to their larger size, but it also means that they will be slowed down consistently. He doesn't seem to mind though was his tail sways behind him, his salmon hued tongue dragging itself across the lower part of his jaws. "Yes. Let's go. We should be able to find some near the edge of the territory if we're lucky with the way that prey has been running recently." Kitchi states calmly toward Silver. He doesn't express any dominance toward her, as they are the same rank as he has no need to challenge anyone right now. He has no need to climb up the ranks either as he lets a low huff from his jaws. Kitchi doesn't move first though, as he waits for Silver to lead the way since she had been the one to offer it in the first place. 000 words || If you have what it takes, prove it || @calla Silver

Silver nods her head to Kitchi as she leads the way towards the place he was talking about. She was fast and she knew it. She however did not know how fast Kitchi was so she set a slow pace all the way to the boarder where he had mentioned the elk would be at. As they near her ears go up as she listening for movement. Not to long she hears snorting and chewing of grass. She moves in crouched on her belly waiting to find a injured elk. Addressed: Kitchi

Nakoma Eachon @tagged 397 words Snow hid the russet wolf from the pack. She was covered in its embrace, but the cold never reached her. Her fur was far too dense to be infiltrated by the weak struggle of winter. She stood there, unsure whether to approach the rest of her pack or stand quietly in the background. She wanted to avoid the eventual awkward conversations, and her struggle to keep up with them. So, there she stood. A small ways back, but there nevertheless. Nakoma was certain her scent would reach the wolves, but the snow helped her by preventing it to reach them too quickly. The Ethiopian wolf pricked her ears at the sound of hunting, and she almost made the effort to step forward and possibly join in the hunt. She was more of a solo hunter herself, but as an Eachon, she was expected to lead hunting packs. However, hunting with a group always caused issues. Yes, it provided strength especially in terms of hunting large game such as elk, but elk were not as dimwitted as they look. They have ears as well as eyesight and are able to see a large pack of wolves just as well as she could. By hunting solo, she is able to control every aspect around her. Nothing to worry about, no one to ruin the hunt, and no one to protect. Easy. Yet, Nakoma joined a pack where she knew this was exactly what she would be getting herself into. She was just tired of looked over her shoulder every time she was drinking water from a mountain stream, or wondering if the snap of a twig was prey or predator.
So here she stood. A red wolf painted white. Her head bowed into the winter wind, and short tail moving slightly with the push of its breeze. Nakoma knew she was a part of their pack, but she never felt so alone. Maybe if she were better at socializing then this wouldn’t be an issue, but her habits and lack of wolf contact during her loner years made it difficult for her to talk to the others. Nakoma was used to being perfectly silent, even witholding her breath during hunts, but this skill has turned into a constant within her life. A constant struggle which was the reason why she was standing near the pack, with her head bowed.

Calla watched as Silver lead Kitchi out on a hunt. Alone with Angel, Calla turned to the young wolf and motioned for her to continue eating. "You'll need your strength for the journey back to the Catacombs. You'll be safer there until I deem you worthy of being mobile on your own again." The female turned, a scent catching her attention again. The Aldirens ears ported at the sight of Nakoma in cover. Calla liked Nakoma, she was quiet and mostly an observer. None too energetic, but also a good confident for Calla when she needed a simple opinion. "Nakoma!" Calla called, her tail swinging gently behind her. "Come. Eat."

As told she continued to eat satifying her fill. As she ate she became more curious as to what Kitchi told her about their neighbors, intrigued she wanted to know more.

Calla Calla chewed on a piece of meat in silence for a moment. She thought about Lark at the mountain border. She must be hungry, Calla thought. With the two wolves she knew could watch the border at a stalemate, Calla could only send Angel. She looked to the female and tilted her head. "Has Lark reported anything the last time she switched places with you?" The Aldiren was displeased that Kitchi left his post. Lark was standing between the enemy and their home. Alone, she would be no match for a pack of invadees.

She lifted her head leveling it with Calla's, "I'm afraid not. Though before we switched last time, I saw something in the snow near on the edge of the border. It looked like something was dragged out of our territory and into theirs. There was no blood, no pawprints yet a faint scent. I couldn't figure out the scent." She states firmly.

Calla Calla nodded in response. The figure Angel mention was, hopefully, just a animal of prey, not one of their own. "When you venture there later, please investigate." She told the tan female. Calla was beginning to worry. How many more of their pack must they lose to this seemingly never-ending rivalry between her pack and another? The Aldiren turned to Nakoma, quiet still. "You alright? Have you eaten enough?" She asked. Calla felt restless and stood. The dark manner of Asher Wood seemed to bring back her deadly nightmare. She didn't want to see those images again. The female rose to her feet, licking spots of blood from her muzzle. The female began to pace back and forth, a light wind twitching her ears.

She nods in response. She licks her jaws, her muzzle stained in the elk's blood. She could already feel her strength regaining after having her fill of the carcass, pleased and satisfied. Worried like Calla, she hopes Lark reports back home as soon as she sees something on her patrol around the borders. "I told her to report back to me if she finds anything."

Calla Calla nodded again, understanding. "Perhaps someone should fetch her." She said thoughtfully. The Aldiren worried for her small pack. They appeared weak, but Calla knew they were a strong bunch. She looked at Angel with question. "Will you go to her? Some one should. I think she expects to be relieved. She's still new, mind you." She reminded the Zaron Leader.

She nods at Calla understanding how worried she is about Lark. "Perhaps, I didnt clarify my instructions well enough for her to understand." She thought to herself. "Yes, Calla." She says firmly and softly. She pads off to Lark, hopefully, she's ok.

Calla The Aldiren watched as Angel turned to see about Lark. The female was in better shape than she had been. Calla fell her gave to Nakoma. "Come, let's hide what is left of the carcass and save it for later." She said, wrapping her her teeth around its skinny neck. The wasn't much except the middle and a few muscles. Calla would not let it go to waste. She also knew Angel was vulnerable. She hoped the two Zarons would make it back safely.

Right so, locking this to move forward. Silver or Kitchi, y'all will need a new thread. Nakoma, you'll move to my new thread in Shattered Mirror and Angel will move to Larks thread in Misty Mountains. If you have questions, please ask!
